Grrr. In what, three anthropology classes, one sex and gender class, and a class on world religions (not to mention just being me) how did I not know that Tibetans practiced reverse polygamy? Wife having multiple husbands? And its still practiced in some pockets! Nepali Teacher and I went round and round for an hour before I believed him. Seriously cool! And Nanny was saying how devalued women were in Tibet before the Chinese came.
