Adopted Family

(Jan 7)
I'm writing this at Chouying's family's house in Boudha His father, mother, sister, and (currently) two nieces and nephews, plus a cousin visiting from school in India. We all watched Kung Fu Panda 2 on the iPad last night. Every street we walk down at least two people say hello to Chouying. Young Nepali men are interesting because they stare at me all the time until, of course, they stop to talk to Chouying because then I don't exist at all. It still kind of bugs me but I'm getting used to it. Now it's mostly just funny. Freaking them out by staring at them or batting my eyelashes.
