Just as I was sad to loose Lucille I am sad to say goodbye to Andrea. Our bonding was very different from me and Lucille. We share a love of music and movies. At least once a day we would sit and listen to What A Wonderful World by the hawaiian singer with the long name and Om Mani Padme Hum. Lucille and I listened, talked about our loves and our losses, and did things together. Both helped me to engage and bond with the boys and both played a part in keeping me sane here so far from home. Yet another practice, I suppose. "...face it, accept it, deal with it, then let it go."
